When I open the list of R3D files in Premiere Pro, a little round RED icon appears in the thumbnail view, and no video clip is viewable. I dumped the footage exactly as is from the mag to my hard drive so no file names or anything have been changed or deleted. I’ve downloaded all the recent RED drivers/files and the R3D files play just fine in Red Cine-X so they are not corrupt. Thank you for this video! Can you please help me? I have Adobe Premiere Pro CC 7.0.0 and keep getting the message: footage is damaged or unsupported when I try to import r3d files. Pass along this and any other info you think will help and I’ll see what I can do to get you up and running. If you don’t keep all of the R3D files you can have problems.

I am still having a problem with importing my red footage. This saves a step of sort all clips by file extension in the bin and delete the unnecessary files in the list. And I’m so glad I will avoid the endless mess of duplicate clips. You just made my day! I thought this was going to take me much longer to figure out. Simple tip but figured if it helps at least one person then yay Thanks for taking the time to put this together…really outstanding.
